P&G Peru

P&G is a Company of leaders that develop leaders.  Since its establishment in 1837, P&G has recognized its employees as its most important asset. As a Company that operates under the philosophy of “growth from within”, P&G invests in the development of each and every one of its employees as a way to enable sustained long term growth.

Our story began with a simple handshake between two men: William Procter and James Gamble—a candle maker and a soap maker—who believed that everyday products could and should be of the highest quality and that the only way to run a business long-term is with honest and fair dealings. As partners, they put their soap and candle business on the map, spawning a period of steady growth. It was during these formative years the Procter & Gamble Company was born, more than 175 years ago.

P&G's history in Peru started in 1956 with the introduction of the laundry detergent Ace. In the next following years, P&G introduced global brands to the Peruvian market starting with Ariel, Pampers, Vick Vaporub, among others. Today, P&G is one of the most respected consumer-goods companies in Perú and our products are used in almost every home and our brands Ace, Ariel, Magia Blanca, Ayudin, Oral–B, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Gillette, Pampers, Always, among many others, are part of the Peruvians' daily lives.
